These can allow you to safely leave your vehicle behind for the required period of time. These parking areas are all reliable and safe.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>One of the most convenient options that you can opt for is the street parking spaces that are usually marked as blue and green zones. This kind of parking is mainly paid and runs during fixed hours during the day:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li>Morning hours: 9:00 to 13:00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Afternoon hours: 15:00 to 20:00<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Monday to Saturday<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>These are usually free on Sundays and national holidays, especially when it comes to parking in Andorra la Vella or Escaldes-Engordany.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>How long you will want to park your vehicle might take some thinking outside of the box when it comes to these street parking zones.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For blue zones in many of the comus, you can need to park your car for anywhere between 15 minutes and 2.5 hours. The green zones give you more time with a minimum of 30 minutes and a maximum of 5 hours.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>It&#8217;s worth noting that Andorra has a lot of parks designated for people with a disability card. The principality has also been adding a lot of electric car parking too, which allows 2 hours of free parking.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to park your vehicle for a longer period of time, definitely use one of the off-street communal car parks. Most provide parks of a good space, with the exception of Andorra la Vella, which designs their parking spaces for Fiat Pandas only.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For car parks in each of the communes, take a look at these maps:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.andorralavella.ad\/comu\/?q=comu\/aparcaments\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/www.andorralavella.ad\/comu\/?q=comu\/aparcaments\">Andorra la Vella<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/www.e-canillo.com\/pk\/index.php?pagina=aparcament&amp;pk=1\" target=\"_blank\">Canillo<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/visitandorra.com\/en\/advanced-browser\/?s=pkingencamp\">Encamp<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/visitandorra.com\/en\/advanced-browser\/?s=pkingcanillo\">Escaldes-Engordany<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/visitandorra.com\/en\/advanced-browser\/?s=pkingmassana\">La Massana<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/visitandorra.com\/en\/advanced-browser\/?s=pkingordino\">Ordino<\/a><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/visitandorra.com\/en\/advanced-browser\/?s=pkingstjulia\">Sant Juli\u00e0 de L\u00f2ria<\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>If you want to avoid your car being dinged by other people, or nudged up against by those parking in front and behind you, consider one of the private parking facilities. They are located all around the country and though not <em>cheap<\/em>, they aren&#8217;t as steeply priced as you might expect when compared with Spain and beyond.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Most importantly, take care to park well. When I first arrived in Andorra there was a lot of flexibility in how things operated, but it&#8217;s becoming clear that the expenses brought about by Covid have to be paid for somehow, so that flexibility is drying up quickly.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Worth noting though, if you do get a parking fine, generally you can get a 50% discount if you &#8216;annul&#8217; (pay) within 24 hours.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>There are several parking spaces in Andorra that you can access no matter what kind of vehicle you own or drive.
